DESCRIPTION

The route crosses several coastal and typical villages of the country: the village of Trinité which has the only sugar factory on the island, then the village of Sainte-Marie where you will discover the famous site of the tombolo which according to the period of the year produces an exceptional meteorological phenomenon.

Then the villages of Marigot and Lorrain with carved reliefs made up of cliffs and coves with large waves.

The village of Basse-Pointe, which was once the birthplace of the famous writer and politician from Martinique, Aimé Césaire, then the village of Macouba which is home to the famous JM rum distillery and finally the village of Grand-Rivière.

After crossing the famous 67m bridge, the longest and highest of the island, the walk opens the gates of the village, its alleys, its chapel, its fishing port and its big river!

A Creole aperitif and lunch are served in a restaurant with local flavors.

In the afternoon you can enjoy a refreshing river bath at leisure before returning to the hotel in the setting sun.

The organizer is entitled to cancel any planned activity or tour if the requested number of participants is not reached or if any circumstance outside control might endanger or stop the appropriate continuity, such as weather, transport, breakdown, strike etc. The amount paid will then be fully reimbursed, excluding any claim for compensation.

PARTICIPANT’S LIABILITY

Cancellation by the participant entails cancellation fees, the amount of which depends on the type of excursion and the moment when cancellation occurs.

· More than 24 hours before departure : 50% of the total price will be retained.

· Less than 24 hours before departure : 100% of the total price will be retained.
