Discover the treasures of the North of the island of Martinique.

Crossing the capital Fort-de-France, for a stop in front of the miniature replica of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart Montmartre in Paris.

Nestled in the heart of hygrophilous vegetation, the garden is endowed with a thousand varieties of surprising flowers, plants and shrubs.

Continuing on the green route of the trail which winds through a tropical forest, you will cross the picturesque village of Morne-Rouge then that of Saint-Pierre posed at the foot of the volcano Mont Pelée, formerly the capital of the island.

Its volcanological museum opening right to a visit, its ruins dating from the eruption of 1902, its pretty beautiful bay, its place Bertin …

A place steeped in history!

After lunch served in the restaurant, the journey continues along the large north-eastern Atlantic slope towards the rural villages of Ajoupa-Bouillon, Basse-Pointe birthplace of the illustrious poet Aimé Césaire, and Sainte-Marie, all fertile regions for food crops.
