Discover the South of the island of Martinique.

In the heart of the village of Trois Ilets you will visit the Domaine de la Pagerie, the birthplace of the Empress Joséphine in 1763.

She spent the first 16 years of her life in this 500 hectare sugar factory. Nowadays, the Pagerie museum is installed in the old kitchens of the site.

Continuing inland, the circuit takes you to the south-east of the island through the rural villages of Petit Bourg and Saint Esprit. The arrival in the village of François announces the visit of the famous Domaine de l'Acajou bought at auction in 1887.

It is a must-see site that houses the Habitation Clément, renowned for its distillery and its rums.

After a tasting with fruity flavors you will cross the town of Vauclin by the south-east to the village of Sainte-Anne located at the southern tip of the island. It is a drier area well known for its beaches.

Aperitif and Creole lunch are served in the restaurant and the sea bath takes place on the magnificent Salines Beach, a site forming a perfect arc of circle and considered as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Lesser Antilles. Finally, at sunset, the circuit ends its loop with a return to accommodation.

5.30 p.m. - Return to the hotel.
