From 8 a.m. a quick navigation towards the Caribbean north takes you to the observation sites in an embellished panorama of coastal villages: Fort-de-France, Schoelcher, Case-Pilote, Bellefontaine, Carbet…
In the comfort of the calm waters of this leeward coast, many species of dolphins and cetaceans cohabit: the bottlenose dolphin, the Fraser dolphin, the Electrolux dolphin, the pilot whale, the Sperm whale, the beaked whale and even the humpback whale.
Spotted dolphins (pantropical dolphins) are very widespread in these waters where they gather in large schools. From the first dolphins spotted, the approach will be made at a moderate pace to avoid disturbing them.
Then you will be amazed by the spectacle of this aquatic ballet: the hunting scenes, the phases of rest, games such as surfing in the waves, swimming against the bow of the boat, or the legendary acrobatic jumps. However, it is not recommended to touch them. After this emotional sequence, anchoring in the crystal clear waters of a protected cove is conducive to a good sea bath followed by a good refreshing.
