DESCRIPTION

The circuit begins with the village of Lamentin in the heart of the Gardens of Belfort, an ecotourism site rich in agricultural land.

On board the famous Petit-Train de la Plantation and in a detailed commentary, you will discover the banana culture of Martinique and its mode of production.

The coach takes the northeast route to the village of Trinité for a stop near the Galion Factory, the only production unit on the island transforming the sucrose contained in sugar cane into crystallized sugar . The plant also produces the "Grand Arome Galion", a rum highly prized by the food industries for its aromatic power.

The rest of the route leads to the small village of Tartane located on the Caravelle Peninsula, the oldest land in Martinique. You will visit the famous Château Dubuc built in 1725, and formerly known for its smuggling of slaves, weapons, powder, and ammunition ... The site was classified in March 1992.

Then, you will visit the Brûlerie de Tartane, an artisanal coffee roasting company, which offers a wide range of coffees roasted on site and according to pure industry standards.
