South of Basse Terre and volcano hike

DESCRIPTION

Discover the Old Lady, the Soufriere volcano (1467m).

An ascent through a dense tropical forest, humid and steep.

Departure of the yellow baths, for a hike to the top of the volcano. Escorted by a guide who will explain the different eruptive phases of the volcano and the vegetation specific to the massif of the soufrière.

Along the way, a small snack will be served.

When you return from the Volcano, take the time to relax and enjoy a swim in the yellow baths, a beautiful pool of hot and sulphurous water in full vegetation.

Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.

For the chilly, provide a more covered clothing for the top of the volcano (difference of about ten degrees)
